Hampton Inn Chicago Downtown/Magnificent Mile

The experience was less than really positive, but, not the hotels fault, Collage sport, Festival of lights parade and Chi. Bears game all at the same weekend, waiting 20 minutes in line for elevator to floor 26, next morning, waited 20 minutes to leave, took the stairs down 14 floors to get an elevator in a private section, to get to the lobby. Breakfast was pretty good.(Good enough)

Nice hotel, only complaint is that the fridge didn't stay cold and our food went bad. Also, no microwaves in the rooms (our king at least).. but there is one downstairs in the lobby. The free breakfast was good, and the working saying good morning to everyone was super nice. Pool was under construction, the gym is nice but very hot because of all the windows and it being on the top floor.

First time staying here(I choose a new hotel every visit) and overall I’d give it a 4/5. All in all, it’s a nice hotel; great location(like one street away from mag mile/michigan ave), breakfast included, and decent pricing. For 2 nights I paid less than $300 and I really loved that for a spacious king bed room. Bed is comfortable in my opinion. Also, I had some important documents I needed printed and I thought this place had a business center with a printer but they don’t. Angela at the front desk was nice enough to allow me to send them to her to print for me. This place only loses a star because as soon as I checked into my room the toilet has had a consistent flushing problem(not a plumber but I’ve had this problem in apartments before and the toilet handle isn’t catching to allow the toilet to flush). Also, I dropped the thermostat as low as it can go(65F) and it still felt like 70 in the room. Thankfully not blazing hot, but as someone who like to sleep in the cold it was only relatively cool like just barely. Overall, great place and would recommend!

Just came back from a long weekend in this hotel. Everything was perfect. I want to give a special shout out to giovanni who worked value. Every encounter with him was extremely helpful and pleasant. He has a great sense of humor and has the ability to make you feel like a long lost friend

Coming from Canada nervous because its my first time coming alone, came for a women's in trade conference and went to check in. Tried 2 times for my card to tell me I was having problems didn't want to try the 3rd time or else my card locks. Ada from front desk was amazing, helped me through everything and I was able to get into my card again and pay for my room. She made everything so stress free. Then we have daymion from breakfast, so kind and greeted everyone with a smile. Spoke so softly he just made your morning extra special. Thanks again to these 2 amazing people, you made my stay alot better and stress free

I loved the location, the room was clean and the bathroom had a bathtub, all was good. The fridge didn't work, no one offered to even get us a cart for our luggage but we enjoyed our stay.

Nice location for the week. This location is close/walking distance to a lot. Service 5/5. Breakfast 3/5. The water was always hot, which was a plus for someone who loves hot showers. My only thing were the pillows. They were very flat & made it difficult to sleep. BONUS: Ms. Lanette (not sure if I spelled her name correctly) was a delight to meet & speak with; very helpful with a warm spirit! Every establishment needs a Ms. Lanette!

My wife and I stayed here for our Honeymoon and thought it was a perfect place, right in the middle of everything. We really loved Lynette. Robert, and Marcus who were all so interesting and helpful with our rooms and places we should visit. I really wish they are there the next time we are in town to visit because they made our trip fantastic!! Rooms were clean, people were nice, and everything was fast and easy when we had to stay two extra days because our flights got delayed. Will stay again!
